Trip to France Itinerary

Visit three distinct areas of France - Toulouse, Saint-Émilion, and the Loire Valley. Immerse yourself in the culture and cuisine of each locale.

Day 1 - 3: Toulouse

We’ll spend our first three days in Toulouse, known as The Pink City for its beautiful pink terracotta buildings. Toulouse is renowned for its rich, hearty cuisine and boasts traditional dishes such as cassoulet, foie gras, and duck confit.

We’ll explore the city with our local guide and friend, Alex, who will show us Toulouse through a unique lens. We’ll enjoy a private boat ride along the Garonne River, a walking tour of the city’s historical center, a hands-on cooking class in a local’s home, and an artisan workshop focused on the traditional blue dye derived from the "pastel" plant, a historical industry deeply rooted in the city's heritage.

Included meals: all except 1 dinner

Day 4 - 6: Saint-Émilion

Next, we move on to Saint-Émilion, a charming village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and historic wine caves make it one of the most picturesque villages in France. The village is a prestigious wine region within Bordeaux, known for its deep, elegant red wines primarily made from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes. Many vineyards here date back centuries.

During our stay, we’ll take a private underground tour, participate in a wine tasting and blending experience at a château, and savor the countryside’s traditional dishes.

Included meals: all except 1 dinner

Day 7 - 9: Loire Valley

We’ll end our tour in "The Garden of France". Known for its lush landscapes and fertile soil, the Loire Valley is celebrated for its vineyards, orchards, and farms, which produce a bounty of fresh ingredients. Additionally, the Valley has a rich Renaissance history, which influenced its art, architecture, and gardens, leaving a legacy of sophistication and beauty.

Here, we’ll savor the region’s cognac, chocolate, oysters, and cheeses, and experience a private mushroom tour and wine tasting, a tour of one of the region’s most stunning châteaux, and a tour of a wallpaper factory. We’ll end our time together with an unforgettable private farewell dinner in a picturesque château.

As we say farewell, we will coordinate a private driver and transfer to the closest airport or train station on your behalf.
