First, we’ll schedule a no-strings-attached, 15-minute discovery call to learn about your trip goals and see if we’re a good fit.

After that, our custom travel process is broken down into five different phases:

Phase One: Design - We'll kick things off by sending you a questionnaire, followed by a one-hour trip design call with an Experience Designer. We want to get to know YOU! These will shape the blueprint for crafting your Concept Itinerary.

Phase Two: Itinerary Development - We'll draft and send your Concept Itinerary. This high-level plan ensures that we've captured the essence of your trip, included any must-haves, and presented a broader idea before developing the finer details. We’ll get your feedback and build out your Daily Itinerary. Your Daily Itinerary will include: each day broken down with specific recommended experiences, accommodations, transportation, and quotes.

Phase Three: Review - Now you’ll refine your Daily Itinerary and provide feedback.

Phase Four: Booking - You can sit back and relax and we'll take care of securing everything you've approved. We’ll bill a 30% deposit and proceed with all your bookings. The remaining balance will be due 90 days before your trip.

Phase Five: Preparation and Travel - Your trip of a lifetime is here! We’re just a phone call away if you need any assistance. Your itinerary is ready to go and we’ve included helpful resources to make sure you’re prepared for your trip.

You’ll chat with a Destination Expert who will take the time to understand your travel style, goals, and interests because understanding YOU is the most important part of the process. During our time together, we’ll take your travel ideas and transform them into a trip that is constructed to maximize your experience and highlight what you’re really looking for.

For example, a friend may recommend visiting a specific city in your destination but after hearing about what you like to do and the types of experiences you’re looking for, we might suggest a different city that is a better fit for you. This is YOUR trip of a lifetime, not a copy and paste from your friend’s trip.

Once we understand your style, we’re quick to research and build recommendations tailored to your expressed preferences. If you're looking for something in the countryside, with nearby hiking trails and a phenomenal restaurant on site, we know the perfect place for you that we’ve already carefully vetted. This spares you hours of research on the internet looking at different regions and trying to narrow it down.

The initial deposit for custom travel is $450, which will be applied to your final trip cost. Because every trip is custom made to your preferences, pricing varies based on the level of customization, accommodations, and experiences you choose.

Our fully custom itineraries start at a minimum of $1,000 per person per day, with a required trip length of at least 5 days.

Please note that as a fully custom service you should expect to invest more per person than our small group trips. With handpicked stays, immersive cultural experiences, exclusive access to local experts, and concierge-level support, we guarantee a seamless, stress-free trip designed entirely around your preferences.

While we don’t offer the option to book the entire trip on your own, there are significant advantages to having us handle all the arrangements for you.

We take care of in-country transportation, including trains and domestic flights, as well as securing exclusive accommodations and unique experiences.
