Ingredients & Preparation
Have your ingredients pre-measured and prepped before the class for a more seamless experience.
If you do not have certain ingredients, our chefs will do their best to suggest substitutions.
Before class:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (176 degrees C)
Tres Leches Cake
12 servings
8 eggs
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
4 1/4 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (we recommend a high quality vanilla)
1 12-oz can evaporated milk
1 14-oz can of condensed milk
1 container/can of ready whipped cream
Optional: fresh berries (strawberries recommended), chocolate chips, or sprinkles for topping
Optional for adult-cake version: alcohol of choice (rum, vodka, gin, etc) can be added in
Equipment
Certain commonly used kitchen tools are not listed here, such as cutlery, dishes, mixing bowls, pots, and pans. Any additional equipment is listed here.

General Steps:
Make the cake.
Mix the kinds of milk while the cake bakes.
Add the milk mixture to the warm cake.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
After class, decorate with whipped cream and enjoy!
