Alfajores (Caramel Cookies)
Cookies
500 grams (4 cups) of flour
300 grams (1 1/3 cup) room temperature unsalted butter
70 grams (5/8 cup) of powdered sugar
Dulce de Leche Caramel Filling
1 cup of evaporated milk
1 cup of condensed milk
Water
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (we recommend a high quality vanilla)

General Steps
Make the dulce de leche filling.
Make the dough and bake the cookies.
Assemble the alfajores!
